Manager, Corporate and Intercompany Accounting (remote)
Position can be located anywhere in Mexico.
Position Objective:
Responsible for the general ledger for assigned Tupperware corporate entities including but not limited to the areas of: reporting and closing functions, intercompany and rebilling transactions, prepaids, royalties, leases, daily cash, and fixed asset. Additionally prepare and review various monthly, quarterly and annual reports, reconciliations, analysis, and participate/lead cross-functional projects.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Oversee month-end financial close process and related activities of the corporate books to ensure complete and accurate financials in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including managing/reviewing close activities such as journal entries and account reconciliations within the established close timeline
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, SOX controls, and external audits
- Ensure appropriate reporting and elimination of intercompany transactions and oversee the rebilling process in adherence to the transfer pricing objectives and budget.
- Lead and coordinate Internal/External audit requests.
- Review quarterly Schedule 18’s for the Tax Department
- Review all year-end tax work papers and WW Finance closing schedules, as well as review schedules assigned including T-Schedules and State and Local Tax schedules for assigned entities.
- Support and assist Tax lead strategic projects (i.e. Transfer pricing)
- Owner local chart of accounts
- Leadership and development of assigned staff
- Drive continued process improvement, including working cross functionality, to create repeatable, consistent best practices that enable scale
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Skills and Must to Have Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of overseeing month-end financial close process and related activities of the corporate books.
- Previous experience and general understanding of USGAAP.
- Strong knowledge on intercompany and rebilling transactions.
- Knowledge on journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Soft Skills: Proactive, Problem Solver, someone who enjoys enhancing procedures, Strong Decision Making skills.
- Previous experience leading small teams.
- Candidates must be proficient in English.
- Previous experience in big 4 or big 4 firms is ideal but not mandatory.

- Experience using of Oracle EBS, Crystal Report Writer preferred

- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Understanding of global entity structures and multi-country/currency environments
