Flō Networks is a leading provider of telecommunications services between the United States and Mexico. We provide voice and data services to Fortune 1000 companies, telecommunications and cable companies through a fiber optic network that extends for 10,000 km between both countries.
We are looking for a Cash Management Specialist in the city of Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico.
The role:
The Cash Management Specialist will be critical to our financial operations, managing cash transactions, preparing detailed financial reports, and tracking transactions to ensure accurate records. The right person will have strong finance and data management skills, will handle multiple tasks, resolve discrepancies, contribute to financial planning, process improvement and automation, as well as communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate should work independently and in a team, always showing attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and carry out internal and external audit activities.
- Monitor and analyze risk management within treasury operations.
- Manage and maintain relationships with banking and financial service providers.
- Ensure the effective implementation of internal control policies and procedures, and assist in the implementation of new financial policies and procedures.
- Participate in special financial projects, as needed.
- Prepare, coordinate and plan payments to suppliers, employees and other entities in conjunction with various departments.
- Support the creation of payment groups to suppliers in the banking portal and in the accounting system.
- Implement systems, improvements and automations in the department.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate with Finance to maintain a close view of our cash forecast and cash positions, optimizing the use of our cash balances while maintaining optimal liquidity levels per entity.
- Optimize our cash positions in foreign currency in all markets and manage the daily investments of all banks.
- Manage all banking relationships for Mexico, the United States and LATAM.
- Design and document the departmental processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an accounts payable, treasury or similar position.
- English intermediate/advanced (essential).
- Measurable experience implementing improvement projects (preferably).
- Proficient in Advanced Excel.
- Proficient in Google Workspace.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience managing and working on an ERP or accounting system (Edwards,Netsuite, Contpaq, etc).
